On Saturday we went to the Cub Scout Blue & Gold Banquet. It was a western theme and both of the boys made cakes. Zach made a cowboys and indians battle.

Jacob made the Mormon Trail. They've been learning about Western expansion in school and it was all his idea.

The cake auction was a scout fundraiser and there were lots of neat cakes donated by people in the ward too.

This was the boys last pack meeting together, since Jacob will be in Boy Scouts by the end of the month.

Zach has only been in Bears a couple of months, but earned a red bead and a belt loop.

Landon was loud and had to be plugged up most of the time, but loved the clapping and joined in every time.

Jacob has been working so hard the last few months. He earned the 2-year Webelos badge in 11 months. He also earned 4 badges, the religious knot, the compass emblem and 3 compass points, a belt loop, and the Arrow of Light. We're so thankful to his amazing leaders for all their help.

I got a Mom Webelos pin and an Arrow of Light pin.

They do a great job with the Arrow of Light ceremony in our ward, and make it really special for the boys.

All of the cub scout leaders and cub scouts lined up to shake hands with him before "crossing the bridge" to Boy Scouts.

A few of the Boy Scouts were on the other side to greet him.

They also gave him this cool plaque to hang on his wall, and he can't wait to get it up.

After the awards and cake auction they had some fun games. This is a relay to put on cowboy boots and hats.

Here is the back of cowboy Zach.

Both of the boys were beyond excited when they passed out marshmallow guns for them to use to shoot at targets. They were thrilled when they found out they got to bring them home.

Thanks scout leaders for a fun night!

Congratulations, Jacob & Zach!
how wonderful! I really liked the arrow of light board and I think I am going to have to make one for Lund. It was so great to see you and your mom, and connor!
Love you guys, Christa
