Family pics

Tonight my friend Erin took some family pictures for us...just really casual. Well this is how Connor decided to be from the moment we got there. He was really mad because he wanted to get down and run around...the whole time. Oh well. We did get a few good shots though. Now I get to figure out my photoshop. Thanks Erin!

This was NOT one of the better pictures. This is an example of Connor trying to jump off the wall and Savannah "posing." Erin did a great job and we actually got much better...I just need to photoshop them first.

Zach-O-Lantern

It was pumpkin carving time tonight! Savannah was totally enthralled. Zach looks scared in this picture, but he's not. He just got over having a big fit because he lost his treat and didn't get to have pumpkin cookies tonight.We don't call them jack-o-lanterns at our house...they're Zach-O-Lanterns. Maybe next year we'll actually make it look like Zach.

Poor Connor

This is what happens when you're stuck at home all day with a 3-year-old sister...At least he doesn't mind too much right now...I'm sure that will change.

Pumpkin Painting

OH HAPPY DAY!Savannah asked me about every 30 minutes today if it was time to go get the boys so we could paint pumpkins.

Jacob took this picture for me. Connor just wanted to fingerpaint, so we had to finish up quick.

Jacob's was the most colorful this year. Fun times!

Pumpkin "Patch"

BEWARE: Many, many pictures to come this week because of Halloween.

This afternoon we went to a local church's "Pumpkin Patch." It's really just a bunch of pumpkins on crates but the kids had fun picking out their own pumpkin. Connor LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it. I can't even tell you how much he LOVED it.It was actually chilly today, even with the sun. Yeah for fall!!!

Savannah doing her "camera smile." She really wanted a white pumpkin they had but it was too big...hard life.

Everyone around us was laughing because it took a while for me to get even one decent picture of all my kids (Savannah was upset and wouldn't stay there). My kids were all yelling "cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese" for like 3 solid minutes.

Soccer boy

Jacob did awesome today at his soccer game!!! He's improved a lot even since his last game. He got to be the goalie for a while and loved it. (Click on the pictures to see them in more detail) He got some good kicks in...

He stopped the ball a few times as goalie (and was very proud of himself)...

He's getting good at kicking the ball right between the other teams' legs...

Jacob almost scored a goal!!! But the other goalie got it at the last minute.

This is how Zach & Savannah kept themselves occupied. And yes, those are DANGER signs right above their heads...I just noticed that as I was posting this. Whoops!

Fall Festival 2008

Last night we had the missionaries over for dinner. After they left I took the boys to their school's Fall Festival. They had a blast! They both won something in the the "Stuffed Animal Walk." Jacob got a talking Spiderman and Zach picked out a whale he named Willy. (They were used...donated by people from the school for prizes)Zach went to the Reptile Zoo, but I didn't go in with him so we don't have any pictures. Jacob did the soccer kick...good practice for his game today. It was a fun time!
