School Lunch
Today Connor, Landon and I went to the school for lunch. Connor was so excited and insisted on bringing our lunchbox inside of his Buzz Lightyear backpack. He thought he was just another big boy going to school.
First we sat with Savannah. None of the kids knew we were coming, so they loved the surprise. They were very excited to show off Landon to their friends. The cafeteria is so noisy that it was like white noise for Landon. He slept the entire time in my arms.
Connor was so distracted by everything going on around him that I could never get him to look at the camera. He can't wait to go back to "school lunch."Sunday, September 12, 2010

Firsts
We've had a lot of firsts the last couple of weeks...
Connor has had the house to himself for the first time ever. He hardly knows what to do when he plays for more than 10 minutes without someone bugging him. The peacefulness has been nice, I will admit.
Connor and I went grocery shopping at Walmart on Monday and it was the first time he's gotten to walk the entire time (and not be sitting in the cart). He was really good about staying by me. If I even started to walk away he would yell really loud "Wait, wait, wait!" He was carrying a bag of snacks to keep him from touching everything, but unfortunately they ran out just as we got to the produce section. I have learned my lesson and next time I will save the snacks for the produce. There were a few apples that did not survive his visit.
Zach went to the eye doctor for the first time yesterday. His glasses will be ready in the next week or two. Stay tuned for pictures.
Dallin got a new calling at church. Tomorrow will be his first Sunday serving as the Executive Secretary for our ward.
Today was our first visit to the park since spring! And Landon's first time at the park ever. It was so nice that we took a walk on our favorite trail, played at the park, and then walked back.
Zach, who has a hard time seeing, can sense any movement from any little bug or insect on the trail. This teeny tiny frog jumped on the path in front of him.

End of August...
We had a successful first week of school! The kids all love their teachers and are making some new friends. We've been keeping busy here at home too. Thanks to all the friends who have helped with my kids over the past few weeks!!! Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks...
Landon loves to be held and the kids love to hold him. It's a good combination.
When Grandpa was here the kids loved playing games with him on the computer.

First Day of School 2010
Yesterday was the first day of school! The kids were very excited, especially this cute little kindergartener. She was very particular about what she wore and how her hair was fixed. She said that her favorite part of the day was that her best friend Morgan was on the playground at the same time for recess.
Jacob gets to be on the second floor of the school this year...big stuff.
Connor was a little sad after the kids left and was a little emotional. But after a while he discovered that he liked having all the toys to himself, without anyone bugging him. Playing in his tent with a flashlight was his favorite thing.Fun with the Strongs
It's been so nice having Grandma & Grandpa Strong here this week. I have loved the help and the kids have loved the extra attention.
Landon has decided to have his fussy & wide awake time between 2:30 and 5:00am the last couple of nights. Last night Grandma came out and relieved me at 3:30, for which I was very grateful.
