Savannah's "funnest day"

Yesterday Savannah got to have a "funnest day" in her words. To start with Jacob woke up sick. Over the last month all of my kids have had it (Zach twice)...they throw up once or twice and then they're fine. Connor was crankier than the rest though, for sure. Anyhow, Savannah was supposed to go on a little field trip with some friends to Cici's Pizza to see how they make pizzas and then make her own. She was so excited, so I called a friend who was going. She got to go with her friend Roman, which was WAY more fun than going with Mommy anyway. She wouldn't make a pizza though...just drank lemonade I think. Then Sheyenne (Roman's mom) asked if she could come back to their house to play for a couple of hours...um twist my arm. Roman has real dogs to play with and she also said "he even has girl toys!" Roman has a big sister. I finished all my Christmas cards and got caught up on other stuff while Connor was sleeping and Jacob watched movies. Then I was watching a friend's kids for an hour in the afternoon, so she got to play with her friend April too (Jacob was banned to his room to watch movies on the car DVD player). After they left she said "Mommy, this was my funnest day!"
